NYSOH has managed to make information about Qualified Health Plans was much more accessible - they even updated their Plan Preview Tool before open enrollment started. Please keep in mind that the information on this site is provided for research purposes only. I'm not an insurance broker or in anyway associated with NY State of Health. The PLANS BY INSURER section contains 2015 plans and 2016 plans to allow both premiums and plan details to be easily compared. However, to keep things more concise, I've only included 2016 plan information in the PLANS BY COUNTY section.

Unfortunately, I have not compiled information about the Medicaid Managed Health Plans in NY State. The same goes for Child Health Plus and SHOP (Small Business) Plans. I do include some relevant links in the ADDITIONAL RESOURCES section.

If you are looking for information about health insurance plans in other states, healthcare.gov is as decent a starting point as any.
